In order to further promote the standardization, scientificization and homogeneity of nursing quality in Liangjiang New Area, comprehensively improve the quality and management level of nursing services, and improve patients' sense of satisfaction in medical treatment, on July 15, the 2024 Academic Conference of Liangjiang New Area Specialized Nursing Quality Control Center was successfully held in Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Wu Yinlong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Social Development Bureau of Liangjiang New Area, Gong Fang, Director of the Specialized Nursing Quality Control Center of Liangjiang New Area and President of the Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chonqing Medical University, Luo Tianwen, Director of the Party and Administrative Office of the Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chonqing Medical University, He Xiaoming, Deputy Chief of the Medical Education Department, and Gu Manping, Chief Nurse of the Nursing Department, attended the meeting. More than 100 nursing staff from 20 medical units and community health service centers in Liangjiang New Area attended the meeting.

Gong Fang, President of Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chonqing Medical University, extended a warm welcome to all the experts and students who participated in this academic conference, and introduced the background of the establishment of the Liangjiang New Area Specialized Nursing Quality Control Center, the work and the purpose of the meeting. It is hoped that through this academic conference, all students can learn to think, use, and combine with the actual situation of their medical institutions, integrate their knowledge, consolidate the quality of clinical nursing, and comprehensively maintain the health and safety of the people in the area. The following requirements are put forward for the future development of the specialized quality control center in Liangjiang New Area: quality control problems can be collected through various channels such as research, high-frequency complaint feedback from patients, hospital quality control data analysis, hospital needs, etc., to find out the direction of quality control, and to give accurate quality control guidance to other medical institutions in the area.

Wu Yinlong, member of the party group and deputy director of the Social Development Bureau of Liangjiang New Area, affirmed the work of the Liangjiang New Area Specialized Nursing Quality Control Center and put forward valuable guidance and suggestions. It is expected that the Liangjiang New Area Specialized Nursing Quality Control Center will build a platform for mutual learning, mutual reference and mutual exchange, actively play the role of a bridge, provide support and help for the management and development of nursing quality in hospitals at all levels in the New Area, and promote the same frequency resonance of nursing quality control in the whole district. The following guidance was given for the future work of the Specialized Nursing Quality Control Center in Liangjiang New Area: standardization, differentiation, precision and digital development of quality control work. For medical institutions at different levels, public and private, it is hoped that differentiated quality control guidance will be given.

Gu Manping, deputy director of the Specialized Nursing Quality Control Center of Liangjiang New Area and chief nurse of Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of  Chonqing Medical University, gave a lecture on the topic of "Pre-hospital First Aid - On-site Evaluation". She explained the importance and specific implementation measures of pre-hospital emergency on-site assessment from four aspects: overview, on-site safety assessment, on-site patient assessment and future prospects, so that clinical nurses have a deeper and more vivid understanding of pre-hospital first aid. 

Wang Xihan, deputy head nurse of the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine of Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of  Chonqing Medical University, interpreted the "Medical Quality Control Indicators for Emergency Medicine Specialties (2024 Edition)". The 12 new quality control indicators were analyzed and explained in simple terms, and the participants said that they benefited a lot.

Liu Yue, deputy head nurse of the Department of Oncology of Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chonqing Medical University, shared some cases with the title of "Construction and Application of the Whole Process Management Program of Central Venous Vascular Access in Cancer Patients". The case sharing is to build a whole-process management path for central venous vascular access for cancer patients based on total quality management, and is committed to continuously meeting the needs of patients in the whole process of continuous medical treatment.

Jin Pengjuan, deputy head nurse of the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery of Jinshan Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chonqing Medical University, shared the case of "Continuous Improvement Project - Prevention of Unplanned Extubation of Abdominal Drainage Tube", and provided good ideas and reference methods for clinical nurses to do a good job in the precise care of patients in practical work through case analysis and discussion.

In accordance with the requirements of the national, municipal and district medical quality control centers, the center will continue to closely follow the frontier of disciplines, carry out specialized nursing training, improve the specialized nursing capacity of nurses in medical institutions in the district, and provide more high-quality, efficient and safe nursing services for the people of the district.
