Emergency department was established in 201 4relying on emergency department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.We provide emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency patients except pediatric patients.
Emergency Department is located on the first floor of the Comprehensive Building which covers approximately 1840 square meters. We offer 5 rescue beds, 12 observation beds, and 40 transfusion chairs. We provide emergency medical techniques such as endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation,central venous catheterization, defibrillation, cardioversion, emergency sonography and gastric lavage. POCT can be performed in the ER. We have extensive experience in treatment of emergent diseases such as cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, stroke, acute poisoning, shock, heart failure, respiratory failure, multiple trauma, and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.
We have 35 physicians, including 9 chief physicians, 6 associate chief physicians, 6 professors, and 4 associate professors. There are 19 nurses, 8 emergency specialty nurses, 1 wound stoma therapist, and 1 PICC special tynurses in our team. We are a team with superb skills, responsibilities, unity, and pioneering spirits.
