
Haitao Yang, Deputy Director of Radiology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Doctor of Medicine, chief physician, associate professor, master tutor.
In 2009, he graduated from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology with a doctorate in Major Imaging Medicine and Nuclear Medicine; in 2013, he completed working as a visiting scholar/postdoctoral fellow at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF); in 2019, he took the training of "Climbing Program" Phase 4 – American Institute for Radiologic Pathology of American College of Radiology (ACR-AIRP).
His research area is imaging diagnosis of musculoskeletal system diseases and CT-guided minimally invasive intervention.
He has presided over 2 provincial & ministerial level projects; published more than 50 Chinese & English papers including more than 10 SCI papers; participated in the compilation of 2 postgraduate or undergraduate textbooks and 4 Chinese or English monographs.
He is currently a member of Osteoarthrology Group of Radiologists Branch of Chinese Medical Association, a youth member of the 14th Osteoarthrology Group of Chinese Radiology Society, the deputy leader of Osteomyology Group of Radiology Professional Committee of Chongqing Medical Association, the deputy leader of Osteomyology Group of Radiologists Branch of Chongqing Medical Association. He also serves as the editorial board of "BMC musculoskeletal disorders", " Chinese Imaging Journal of integrated Traditional and Western Medicine", and the reviewer of "European Radiology", "Academic Radiology", "Frontier in Oncology" and "Magnetic Resonance Imaging".
He is a member of the Bone Density Imaging Technology Professional Committee of Imaging Technology Branch of Chinese Medical Association, and a youth member of Radiology Branch of Chinese Medical Exchange Promotion Association, a member of Imaging Professional Committee of the Osteoporosis Branch of China Geriatrics Association, and a youth member of Chongqing Radiological Professional Committee. He is good at imaging diagnosis of bone, articulatio and muscular system diseases, mainly engaged in the research of spine, arthritis & cartilage injuries and limb sports injuries. He is the reviewer of "Magnetic Resonance Imaging", "European Radiology", "International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery" and other journals’ reviewer. He has spoken many times at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA2009), the European Congress of Radiology (ECR2014, 2016, 2017), the American Congress of Rheumatology (ACR2013) and the Chinese Congress of Radiology (CCR). He participated in the compilation of 2 medical imaging textbooks for undergraduate and graduate students, and 4 academic monographs on imaging.
